Officers will be spending the day and night on top of the McDonald's on US 421 in Wilkesboro participating in a "Cop-On-Top" event to benefit NC Special Olympics on Friday, August 1st starting at 6 pm. They will be there until at least 6 pm on Saturday, August 2nd taking donations and selling Torch Run merchandise. McDonald's will donate a portion of the sales on a yet-to-be-determined food item to the effort also! See you there!
